Jairo Moncada is a versatile public relations professional with a proven ability to develop comprehensive communications plans that are integrated, strategic and innovative. Jairo leads ProProse’s public and community relations, including general market and ethnic media relations, community outreach, special events and partnership development. As a bilingual and bicultural specialist, Jairo also helps lead all Hispanic marketing initiatives.
Prior to joining ProProse, Jairo led led high-profile public relations campaigns for various government clients and was most recently appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger to manage, implement and coordinate all communications activities related to the service and volunteering sector in California. He also helped devise and manage the public relations strategy for First Lady Maria Shriver’s disaster preparedness campaign.
Jairo earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis and is the past president of the Sacramento Public Relations Association.
