Leslie Mix
Director of Hispanic Outreach Director
Leslie Mix is a specialist in grassroots Hispanic outreach and media throughout California and Northern Nevada. She assists in ProProse’s Hispanic outreach by building key partnerships and reaching out to the Spanish-speaking population for ProProse projects. She is a respected and trusted voice in the Hispanic community and is both culturally and linguistically adept at helping to communicate campaign messages specifically tailored to the monolingual and bi-lingual Spanish-speaking community.
Prior to ProProse, Leslie was the founding president of the Hispanic Business Council, and the founding organizer of four Hispanic events including: Dia de la Famila in Sacramento, California; Cinco de Mayo Festival in Sparks, Nevada; Hispanic Heritage Day at University of Nevada, Reno; and Dia de los Ninos in Las Vegas, Nevada. Leslie is both bi-lingual and bi-cultural in English and Spanish, giving her the unique ability to bridge communication and act as a consensus builder.
Leslie received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Public Relations for the University of Nevada, Reno and holds an Associate’s degree from Miami Dade College in English.
